The All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Social Integration will be holding a public meeting as part of its newly-launched inquiry into intergenerational connection. Following a presentation by South London Cares on their work to connect young professionals with older neighbours, the APPG will invite members of the audience to participate in an open discussion on how the generational divide can be bridged. The event will end with a presentation by Rachel Reeves MP, on the work of the Jo Cox Commission on Loneliness, and how loneliness is a problem for all age groups.
